Cobra Cafe was founded in 1999, in collaboration with the CoBrA art group. CoBrA stands for Copenhagen, Brussel, Amsterdam referring to the cities the artist lived in.
The artist from the CoBrA group helped with the design of our cafe. The floor, chairs, dinner plates and many more things were all designed by different CoBrA artists like Karel Appel, Corneille, Eugene Brands, Shinkichi Tajiri and many more. At Cobra Cafe you can see our art collection and enjoy home-made local products.
Our menu consists of sandwiches and different snacks, like the Dutch 'bitterballen'. Our apple pie is freshly made from scratch every day and our fries are made from the best Dutch grown potatoes and cut by hand. We serve fresh juices, multiple local beers on draft, local Jenever and many other liquors and cocktails.
Located in front of the Rijksmuseum and next to the Van Gogh, Stedelijk museum and Moco, it's the perfect place for a quick stop! We are open every day from 10:30 till 19:00 for breakfast, lunch and a drink. We hope to see you soon!
